OTTAWA, ON -March 16, 2010- Lawrencetown has been named as one of the top 12 communities in the “Kraft Hockeyville 2010” competition. As Member of Parliament for West Nova, Greg Kerr urges you and your family and friends to support Lawrencetown in the running.

A local organizing committee has put together a great bid for Lawrencetown to be crowned “Kraft Hockeyville 2010.” If successful, Lawrencetown would receive a substantive amount of funding for upgrades to the Lawrencetown Exhibition Youth Arena and would host an NHL pre-season hockey game next season.

“A few weeks ago, Canadians united behind our men and women’s hockey teams towards Olympic gold, and now we have the chance to cheer for one of our local, hockey-passionate communities.” said MP Kerr. “Please help support Lawrencetown to become ‘Kraft Hockeyville 2010’ by taking the time to vote.”

Voting is open from Monday, March 15, 2010 at 9:00pm to Sunday, March 21, 2010 at 11:59pm.
